The robotic automated bar tensile testing platform integrates a high-capacity electromechanical universal testing frame with a fully automated workflow for specimen handling, measurement, alignment, and test execution.
This configuration incorporates hydraulic side-action grips, video extensometry, barcode scanning, and automated weight-length measurement, ABB industrial robots, a specimen storage rack, a high-precision control platform, and dedicated automation software, enabling fully unattended tensile testing of bar and rebar specimens.
The fully automated electromechanical tensile testing system is designed for high-volume testing of bar specimens and enables automatic measurement of tensile properties for hot-rolled ribbed rebar. It is ideal for steel mills, construction-material producers, research institutions, universities, inspection centers, and quality-supervision agencies that require large-batch tensile testing with maximum repeatability and minimal operator involvement.
