Introduction
UTC take up bearing unit is made up with a bearing and a bearing pedestal with two guide-track grooves. The pedestal T is also matched with UK and UFL units. With a groove on both the top and bottom sides, the pedestal can move back and forth on a rack. Therefore, this insert bearing is most applicable to occasions in need of adjustment of distance between shafts. It also makes sure that shafts can move even when the machine is still running. UCT300 series take up bearing can bear larger load than UCT200.
The take up bearing units are mainly used on transmission shafts, belts and chains.
