Our 3-way ball valve is available with L or T port configurations. Depending on the flow direction, the three ports are assigned as either one outlet and two inlets, or one inlet and two outlets. The T-Port valve (also called mixing ball valve) can merge two inlets into a single outlet. The opposite flow direction is also possible which allows a single source to divert flow in two directions simultaneously. T-Port ball valves can also be used to allow flow between just two ports, either to the left, to the right or straight through. In terms of L-Port valve, the design allows you to direct flow in one direction at a time. From one inlet you can direct flow into two different outlets. Or from the opposite flow direction, for one outlet the user can choose from either of two inlets.
Due to its lightweight design, the 3-way ball valve ensures robust flow capacity while reducing resistance. It is used for shutoff and flow control of various media such as water, steam, oil, liquefied gas, and natural gas in the petroleum extraction industry, petroleum transmission pipeline systems, high-temperature and high-pressure transport systems in the power generation industry, wastewater treatment systems in the paper industry, and municipal pipeline systems.
